Walking down that road with my head in my hands
Appearing in the distance I saw a big bearded man
It was the bearded bard, yes that bearded bard
And the beard on this bard was just a visual guard

We stopped on that road just to pass the time of day
He said “People think I’m crazy”, I didn’t know what to say

He talked in riddles and he talked in rap and rhyme
He said it helps to talk about these things from time to time

He talked of Gemma’s Nettle man and some trouble he had with fish
Avoiding death by squirrel was his greatest wish

He mentioned reptile brains and a house full of toads
And digging up the gardens in Tan-y-Bwlch Road

He said the bedroom tax was just a crock of shit
And he didn’t trust the government as far as he could spit

He told me ‘bout a bitch called Erin Brockovitch
And a supermarket shop that sold lobster with tits

He said I rock too hard for a bearded bard
